No. It's a well known part if a popular cave and once you see it, the picture is actually quite a good representation.

    No and no.

    Thanks to Heidelberg Quarry

Assuming from your post that this was "officially" donated, do you happen to know if they had the jump through any hoops to get around the risk of getting done for illegal waste disposal? One if the mums on the school run works in the office at our local Hanson's quarry (we'll one of them...)...

    Capelcleugh run in from Aditnow

Isn't ResCon up that way in a few weeks? Perhaps a group might get together and dig it out while plenty of people are about?

From the picture, and your previous comment, it couldn't have been many other places! This one has come out a bit odd. Ignore the strange hand, that's got nothing to do with the answer.

    Raumer Tap Recall

Thanks for sharing @Mr Mike. I've got a tub of those in the shed, but rarely used these days. I'm fairly happy that they'll still be good for securing dive line, which is probably the only application I'm likely to use them for in future.

Sharnberry / Skarnberry Mine Northumberland Eggleston

Pictures are actually from before then, but not uploaded straight away as we turned a the river through a popular picnic/mountain bike spot bright orange on a Sunday afternoon in the height of summer. Thought we'd best not own up to it while people might have still been talking about it locally...

    That's the one.

No and no. Much more popular than either of those, I reckon.

No and no. It's a well known part of a very popular cave.

Sharnberry / Skarnberry Mine Northumberland Eggleston

If it's the same place I know as Sharnberry mine, I've got some photographs from inside the adit and a trip report from about 15-20 years ago. The photos are on Facebook, but I'm not sure how to share them externally from my phone. If you're on Facebook, I can send you a link through messenger...

No. Previous guesses were closer in the thinking. The AI generator I'm using now seems to be fairly safe from that perspective: https://magicstudio.com/ai-art-generator/

    On't scrounge for a skateboard

There was a skateboard leaning up outside Whitewalls last night. Shortcut to the pub? 😮

What caving related thing did you do today?

Got a pretty decent haul of digging tools from Dursley car boot sale (and we only managed to get around half of it today as it was so busy!)
