It's sometimes seen as a bit of a closed shop but we are actually very keen to get new people involved. The event wouldn't happen without it's wonderful volunteers!
Couple of roles in particular for this year (and future years)...
Closed loop survey competition:
You need to come up with a route around the site (and draw a little map for people) and process people's results (can be done throughout the weekend or at a specific time window). You will need to be familiar with Survex and ideally provide your own laptop to run peoples results and record the loop errors.
T-shirt competition:
This is a bit simpler, just needs a coordinator to make it happen. Be a point of contact, make some voting slips, hang up the entries etc.
You are welcome to tweak and improve these competitions too if you have any ideas.
