Nidderdale Hidden village reappears

Very cool. Hopefully no dead bodies have been found.

I wonder if it will fan the flames of the Nidderdale Peoples Front and their quest for independence. Will we see Cofiwch Scar House being sprayed on bus stops county-wide I wonder!

Once we've sorted out that dodgy lot over the brow of Great Whernside the revolution will up a gear...

I wondered if there was any engineering work going on at Angram.

Our club were up there on the 26th and we noted a lot of surface flooding ...much more than Bingley where I live. Because working on the surface we did not go see the reservoir but surprised to hear its full already

Is this ongoing hosepipe ban in North Yorkshire really still necessary? I mean, what a pain trying to get caving gear clean when you can't blast it properly with water! Anyone know when it might be called off? Last time I looked at YW's website there was loads of information about the hosepipe ban but no clue as to when it's likely to end. (There is a lot of stuff explaining why it'sstill continuing, even though we've endured weeks of pestilential weather.)

Scar House and Gouthwaite have certainly filled quite quickly. Talking to a cyclist who’d done the loop round Scar House it appears Angram is also full.

The ban ended today.
Although YW's web site hasn't yet been updated.

This time last month reservoirs were still well below average, although 18th November update said they were starting to refill:
