I've been asked by the cave manager to post the following on here, which may be of interest to some members of the caving community. (Please don't PM me as I'm just the messenger; if you fancy a go at this, get in touch with the manager directly as below.)
"Every December Ingleborough Cave (at Clapham, in the Dales) holds a Santa’s Grotto event. This year the dates will cover the weekends of 3rd/4th, 10th/11th and 17th/18th December, then Monday 19th, Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd. We’re looking for extra temporary staff, as it's a busy time of year for us. There are several roles, although the key one we need to cover is storytellers, who dress up as elves and deliver a script to groups as they make their journey to meet Santa. It's an enjoyable time of year to work at the cave and see it fully decorated for Christmas. We pay £10 an hour, and the standard hours for each day are roughly 0930-1700. There is usually a bonus for those doing the majority of the days. Anyone interested should email the manager at info@ingleboroughcave.co.uk "
