Ok not sure where I’m going with this but anyway. I’m thinking that 30y ago before there was information overload on the net we heard about good trips at home and abroad by word of mouth. Now is there a source for the most rewarding sporting trips? Note I say rewarding not the best as I think that’s quite subjective. I can only offer a list based on personal experience as realistically can anyone else.
Necessary prerequisites? Teamwork essential, above average difficulty either technically, physically or routefinding. Should inspire and generate interest.
So what would people say their most rewarding trips have been that you’d recommend to others to go and do? We should probably exclude caves requiring exploration permits or other difficult access arrangements. Easy permits ok.
